RULES OF THE "BIGGEST ORDER OF THE WEEK" CONTEST

§1. General Provisions

  1. The organizer of the "Biggest Order of the Week" contest (hereinafter: "Contest") is LaCava sp. z o.o., ul. Bednarska 7, 00-310 Warsaw, NIP: 525-282-13-02 (hereinafter: "Organizer"). 

  2. The Contest is conducted via the online store available at: www.lacava.pl 

  3. The Contest is not a game of chance or a lottery within the meaning of the provisions of the Gambling Act. 

  4. The Contest is conducted on the territory of the Republic of Poland. 

 

 

§2. Duration of the Contest

  1. The Contest runs from May 4, 2026 to May 31, 2026. 

  2. The Contest is divided into settlement weeks: 

    • each week runs from Monday (00:00) to Sunday (23:59).

 

 

§3. Contest Participants

  1. Only natural persons can participate in the Contest: 

    • with full legal capacity or with the consent of a legal guardian, 

    • making a purchase as a consumer (without providing a NIP number for the order). 

  2. The following cannot participate in the Contest: 

    • entrepreneurs making business purchases, 

    • employees and associates of the Organizer and their immediate family. 

  3. Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge. 

 

 

§4. Contest Rules

  1. To participate in the Contest, during its duration, a purchase must be made in the Organizer's online store. 

  2. The Contest considers a single order with the highest gross value placed by a Participant in a given week. The value of several orders from one Participant is not summed. For the order value: 

    • the value of products after discounts is included, 

    • delivery costs are not included. 

  3. Unpaid or canceled orders do not participate in the Contest.

  4. In case of a full or partial return of an order that was deemed winning, the Participant loses the right to the prize. 

  5. In case of a tie (same order value), the earlier date of placing the order decides. 

 

 

§5. Prizes

  1. A different prize is awarded each week of the Contest. 

  2. The value of a single prize is a maximum of PLN 3,000 gross.

  3. The prize is not exchangeable for its cash equivalent, unless the Organizer decides otherwise. 

  4. The Organizer reserves the right to change the prize to another of equivalent value. 

 

 

§6. Winner selection and prize collection

  1. The winner will be selected within 5 working days from the end of a given Contest week. 

  2. The Organizer will contact the winner via: 

    • the e-mail address provided when placing the order, or 

    • phone number. 

  3. The winner is obliged to provide the data necessary for the prize delivery within 7 days. 

  4. The prize will be awarded based on a prize transfer protocol or another document confirming its receipt by the Winner. The Winner is obliged to sign the document confirming receipt of the prize.

  5. The Winner agrees to the free publication of information about the win, including their name and town, as well as information about the prize, in the Organizer's communication channels, in particular on the Organizer's website and social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), for informational and marketing purposes related to the Contest.

  6. In case of no contact or refusal to accept the prize, the Organizer may select another Participant. 

 

 

§7. Prize Tax

  1. Prizes in the Contest are subject to taxation in accordance with applicable law. 

  2. The Organizer, as the payer, undertakes to pay the lump-sum income tax on the prize, in accordance with applicable regulations. 

  3. The Participant will receive a prize reduced by the due tax or increased by an additional amount covering the tax – as decided by the Organizer. 

 

 

§8. Personal Data (GDPR)

  1. The administrator of Participants' personal data is the Organizer. 

  2. Personal data will be processed for the purpose of: 

    • conducting the Contest, 

    • selecting winners, 

    • awarding prizes. 

  3. The Participant has the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of their data. 

 

 

§9. Complaints

  1. Complaints regarding the Contest can be submitted by e-mail to: sklep@lacava.pl

  2. Complaints will be considered within 14 days of their receipt. 

 

 

§10. Final Provisions

  1. The Regulations are available on the website www.lacava.pl 

  2. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Regulations, provided that this does not worsen the terms of participation. 

  3. Matters not regulated herein shall be governed by Polish law.
